Slumped
glass creates endless possibilities of texture & light refraction. For use
in furniture,screens & sculpture.
Screen
printed glass allows a variety of colours and design, however complex, to
be produced permanently.
Etching
is achieved by sandblasting, acid treatments or screen printing an acid effect.
The
use of mouth blown glasses can add depth and character to an artwork, whether
used for a complete project or bonded additional pieces.
Processing
techniques include the silk-screening of permanent ceramics enamels, acid etching,
sandblasting and slumping. Safety is a prime concern especially as some of our
commissions are situated in public areas, therefore, toughening, heat soaking
and lamination are all methods we use to protect the glass.
